Burn the candle evenly until the entire surface of the candle is melted. Do not leave burning for more than four hours. Do not leave a candle unattended. Keep away from drafts, children, pets, and any flammable objects. If the wick needs to be moved to the center, carefully adjust the position while the wax is still melted. Let the candle harden before lightening up again. If black smoke appears, trim the wick. It should be clean and no longer than 5 mm. Do not burn out the candle to the end, leave about 5 mm (0.2 inches) of wax at the bottom of the jar.
